Adolf Hitler: Impact on the 1930s
Though Adolf Hitler's character did not impact the world in the 1930s as much as it did in the 1940s, Hitler had become a very influencial figure in Germany after World War I. Hitler was responsible for much of the regrowth in nationalism after Germany had taken a huge hit from the war. Hitler's oral skills and political skills were what really appealed to German citizens and political figures. Hitler's impact on Germany and his war tactics are still acknowledged today, even though he did many things that seem inhumane. Hitler was even thought to be somewhat insane. Though he was hated by many, it still doesn't take away from the fact that Hitler had great skill in rallying the Germans and leading the German army in the 1940s. His impact on the world was like no other and will be remembered for decades.

World War I
I am a white, middle class nineteen year old boy who lives in the city of London. I am very proud of my nation and am willing to fight to protect my allies and my own people. Right now, im stuck in a steel factory like the rest of my brothers. I want to go out and fight for my country. I cant stand how Germany thinks that they can push all of Europe aside just so that they can have power. They are a dangerous nation, along with Germany's allies. They are just as bad. Europe shouldn't waste it's time in a state of war when we should be spreading peace and our knowledge throughout the world. I'm hoping that i wont be shiped to India when im drafted. I want to fight on German lands. It's time that they end the bullying thats been going on for years.

A Male Factory Laborer - On Unionization
Being a male factory laborer, I spend most of my day working in the dark, hot mines with very little protection. My job is very dangerous and many are killed doing what I do by being crushed by fallen rocks or by sufocating from the toxic fumes. I go to work every day knowing that I may not make it home to see my family. Though my job is harmful to my body and i make very little money doing what I do, there aren't many other options for me. I must support my family and due to the easy availability of this job, I had to take it. It is great that we all have jobs and I am a good worker, but the life that I live now is a tough one. I really have to fight off the fear that I have of losing my life with the satisfaction of knowing that I am doing the best to support my family through these changing times.

The French Revolution - The Commoner
We the commoners of France deserve much more freedom from the leashes of government. We ask the government to stop spilling more blood over the slightest offense of speaking out against corrupt leaders. We also ask for more land that we work very hard for. We hold the most common of jobs but still dont have much say in government. With a corrupt leader at the head, how are we, the best representatives of our nation, suppose to change France for the better? We must let the common people lead our country into a new era.
