Louis XIV: From the Commoner
Yet again, another ruler who wants all of the power to himself. Louis establishing an absolutist and centralized state is going to cause even more problems for a commoner like myself. Yes, we may be better defended, but people like us will have no say in our lives and we will have to work even more for less outcome. And all of these wars that he is provocing is terrible, we the commonfolk are the ones that are gonna have to fight these wars for him. It is unnesessary and it's really killing us. We need a ruler who cares more about the commoners and less about his power and starting trouble with other provinces and countries.

King Louis XIV used his power to enforce his personal beliefs.Like with the commoners Louis forced his personal beliefs on the clergy. He forced his subjects to convert to Catholicism.Like Michael I believe King Louis XIV unfairly made his subjects convert to his beliefs despite their own personal opinions.
Louis was an awful king to the commoners of Europe. He pushed many things onto them and made them do things his way.
I was of the clergy and he was to those also he forced them to convert to Catholicism. He was not of the best who reigned. He took his level of reigning to the extreme and forced too much on the common people.
I think you basically captured how Louis ruled. He is the one that started many wars and didn't think about "the little people." He was only interested in doing for himself and others like him. He even dared to lessen taxes for the wealthy and make the commoners pay even more when he knew they couldn't afford it.
Um, hello?! Dude was a really good king to the commoner. While he was rather opinionated about his religion, think about it in contrast. He was a much better king to us that many other kings were.
